Regulars to Dartford Social Club will know how difficult these past 2-3 years have been, not just for us, but the whole of the hospitality sector throughout the country. The Club has been standing for just over 100 years & is in need of a facelift.
With footfall through our doors in decline with people used to staying home during the pandemic, keeping the Club afloat is proving difficult. Our function hall is in need of a spruce up, ideally we can raise enough money to install much needed air conditioning, however, that might be going a tad too far…. So, we are looking at giving our hall a lick of paint & a facelift to entice more weddings & parties.
On Saturday 30th July we have two of the Clubs favourite bands, The Cockney Knights & The Odd Fellows doing a couple of sets each, regulars to these bands will know how good they are & we’re sure they won’t disappoint! There will be a BBQ from 4pm with DJ Sam starting things off in the hall.
We have some fantastic raffle prizes, kindly donated by a member, 2 childrens ride on battery operated toys as well as the usual bottles of plonk, choccies etc!
